…guns and bullets to garlands and bouquets
…hatred, revenge and divisions to love, forgiveness and reconciliation...
Dear Editor,
In a first-of-its-kind initiative to bridge the mistrust, heal the hearts, and bring about a reconciliation among people who have directly suffered in the long-drawn conflict in Jammu & Kashmir, The Art of Living is hosting a historic event on 10th November 2017 in Bengaluru.
Paigam-e-Mohabbat (Message of Love) will bring together family members of slain militants, families of victims of cross-firing from all parts of Kashmir and families of defence and security personnel from across the country who have been martyred in the Valley.
An initiative of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living, the gathering is being hailed as a landmark beginning to foster the spirit of love, forgiveness and reconciliation, and is likely to play a historic role in creating an ecosystem for peace-building in the troubled Valley.
We have the pleasure of inviting you to this unique event, and be part of the vision of ushering in peace, progress, prosperity and harmony in Jammu & Kashmir. A gathering of over 25,000 peace-loving people will be there to lend their support to the initiative.
