1 to 2 Crore Chants of Valour, Strength, and Protection
22 July 2020, Chennai: 1 to 2 Crore Tamilians across the world are set to chant the Kanda Sashti Kavacham on 26th July 6 pm onwards, along with the global spiritual master and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Kanda Sashti Kavacham Parayanam which is part of every Tamil household is devotionally chanted in daily prayers is also believed to invoke valor, give mental strength, and protect people (kavacham). Taking meditative attention to different parts of the body enlivens and heals the body.
Gurudev had given a call on November 15, 2019, to chant the Kanda Sashti Kavacham, which evoked a huge response in Tamil Nadu. These chants are powerful and help calm down the human nervous system, reduce anxiety, and boost immunity.
On the auspicious occasion of Aadi (Kanda) Sashti on 26th July, 2020 Gurudev has initiated a mass chanting event where crores of people from Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Middle East, Europe, United States and other nations with Tamil speaking populations across the world will participate, making it one of the largest congregations ever to chant the Kanda Sashti Kavacham in such large numbers.
Many esteemed organizations including Religious Leaders and Mutts, Spiritual Organizations, Murugan Devotees Associations, Kavadi Groups, Padayatra Groups, Council of Sanyasis, Grama Pujaris Council, Tamil Sangams from round the World, Renowned Temples, Educational Institutions, Women Micro Entrepreneurs Groups will be joining to chant the Kanda Sashti Kavacham.

Colours TV Tamil will deliver a special program to mark the occasion and will be telecast from 5:30 pm and will telecast this Kanda Sashti Kavacham chanting (deferred) live. Voot, Chanakya News YouTube Channel and Behindwoods are also interested to webcast this program live. Many Bhakti Channels across the Country and local Cable TV channels will also telecast the program live.
Mass chanting and meditation have been found very beneficial for activation of the vagus nerve, also known as the wellness nerve in the body. Researchers from MIT, University of California, and Harvard University have also published a paper explaining the anti-inflammatory benefits of yogic practices and meditation.

22 ஜூலை 2020, சென்னை: உலக ஆன்மீகத் தலைவர் மற்றும்மனித நேயர் குருதேவ் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ரவிசங்கருடன் உலகெங்கிலும் இருந்து 1 முதல் 2 கோடி தமிழர்கள் கந்த சஷ்டி கவசம் பாராயணம் செய்யவிருக்கின்றனர். இந்த கந்த சஷ்டி கவச மந்திரங்கள் மிகவும் சக்தி வாய்ந்தவை. மேலும் மனித நரம்பு மண்டலத்தை அமைதிப்படுத்தவும், பதட்டத்தை குறைக்கவும், நோய் எதிர்ப்பு சக்தியை அதிகரிக்கவும் உதவுகின்றன.

குருதேவ் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ரவி ஷங்கர் 2019 நவம்பர் 15 ஆம் தேதி தமிழகத்தில் கந்த சஷ்டி கவசம் பாராயணம் செய்யுமாறு அழைப்பு விடுத்திருந்தார்.அது தமிழகத்தில் மாபெரும் வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றது. ஜூலை 26ஆம் தேதி புனிதமான ஆடி (கந்த) சஷ்டியின் போது குருதேவ் மாபெரும் அளவில் பாராயணம் செய்வதற்கு வழிநடத்த முன்வந்துள்ளார்.இதில் சிங்கப்பூர், இலங்கை, மலேசியா, மத்திய கிழக்கு நாடுகள், ஐரோப்பா, அமெரிக்கா மற்றும் உலகெங்கிலும் தமிழ் மொழி பேசும் மக்கள் கொண்ட பிற நாடுகளில் இருந்து கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்கள் இக்கந்த சஷ்டி பாராயணத்தில் பங்கேற்கவிருக்கின்றனர்.
