The Art of Living Tamil Nadu cordially invites you for two important events in Kumbakonam district on Sept 5, 2018.
1. Dedication of a Waste Management Unit at Swamimalai temple, Kumbakonam district, Tamil Nadu: This unit has been donated by the Art of Living International Centre,, Bangalore. This Unit can handle 1000 kg of flower waste/day and convert it to rich manure that can be used to improve and rejuvenate soils. Such units have been installed in seven major temples of India like the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, Kamakhya temple in Guwahati, Tarapeeth, West Bengal, Dakshineshwar, Kolkata, West Bengal, Vidhyavasini, Mirjapur, Uttar Pradesh, Udupi Krishna Math, Udupi, Karnataka & Dargah Sarif, Ajmer
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be dedicating this Unit in the temple premises at 5 pm.
2. Launch of Skill Training Centre, Papanasam, near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu at 6 pm: Skilling India has been a major initiative by the Government of India and Art of Living has been recognized as one of the main Institutions to conduct Skill Training to the underprivileged and rural communities, to augment and supplement family incomes. Towards, this, a new training centre is being launched to impart different skills to both male and female youth in that district.
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be launching this program in Melaveedhi Theru, Papanasam, Thanjavur district at 6.30 pm
