Press Release - Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court Acknowledges Art of Living Had All The Permissions In Place

In today's hearing by the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, in the Thanjavur Temple Case, the Honorable Judges recognized that the Art Of Living had obtained all necessary permissions from the appropriate authorities, which includes erecting a temporary tent within the temple grounds in order to conduct the spiritual and cultural program called Vigyan Bhairav. They also noted that there is a precedence of private events being held within the temple like film shootings.

13 December 13, 2018, Bengaluru: In today's hearing by the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, in the Thanjavur Temple Case, the Honorable Judges recognized that the Art Of Living had obtained all necessary permissions from the appropriate authorities, which includes erecting a temporary tent within the temple grounds in order to conduct the spiritual and cultural program called Vigyan Bhairav. They also noted that there is a precedence of private events being held within the temple like film shootings. 

"Unlike film shootings, the meditation event organised by the Art Of Living was in-line with the activities that can be conducted within a temple as outlined in Article 25 - 26 of the Indian Constitution. " says Ravi Ananth Padmanabhan, advocate of the Art Of Living.

Also, the World Culture Festival 2016 case reference taken by the petitioner was completely rejected by the Honorable Judges with full force.

13 டிசம்பர் 13, 2018, பெங்களூரு: சென்னை உயர்நீதி மன்றத்தின் மதுரை பெஞ்ச், தஞ்சாவூர் கோவில் வழக்கில் இன்றைய விசாரணையின்போது, தி ஆர்ட் ஆஃப் லிவிங் விங்ஞான்  பைரவ் என்னும் ஆன்மீக கலாச்சார நிகழ்ச்சிக்காக   கோவில் மைதானத்தில் தாற்காலிக கொட்டகை அமைப்பு ஏற்படுத்துவது உட்பட அனைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளுக்கும்  உரிய  அதிகாரி களிடமிருந்து தேவையான அனைத்து அனுமதியையும் பெற்றுள்ளது என்பதை மாண்பு மிகு    நீதிபதிகள் கண்டறிந்தனர். மேலும் சினிமா படப்பிடிப்புகள் போன்ற  தனியார் நிகழ்வுகள் இதற்கு முன்னர்  கோவிலுக்குள் நிகழ்ந்திருப்பதையும்  அவர்கள் குறித்தறிந்து  கொண்டனர்

"திரைப்படப் படப்பிடிப்புகள் போன்றல்லாமல்  இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பின் 25 -26  பிரிவு களில்  குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள  கோவிலுக்குள் நடத்தப் படக் கூடிய  நிகழ்ச்சி முறைமைப் படியே இந்த  தியான நிகழ்ச்சி ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது" என்று தி ஆர்ட் ஆஃப் லிவிங்கின்  வழக்கறிஞர் ரவி அனந்த் பத்மநாபன் கூறுகிறார்.

மேலும், உலக கலாசார விழா 2016 வழக்குரை மனுவை குறிப்பிட்ட மனுதாரரின் வாதத்தை மாண்பு மிகு நீதிபதிகள் முழுமையான அதிகாரத்துடன் நிராகரித்து விட்டனர்.
